Makes: 1 kg chicken
Make shallow diagonal cuts on 1 kg chicken pieces. Mix the chicken pieces with 4 tbsp oil, 8 tbsp yogurt (plain) / mayonnaise, 2 tbsp lemon juice and 50g Nimkish Tandoori Chicken Masala. Allow to marinate for 4 hours or refrigerate overnight.
Oven – Preheat grill and lightly brush oil on the chicken and grill until cooked. Alternatively, you can bake the chicken in preheated oven 180° C / 350° F on baking tray. Bake for approximately 15 minutes, then turn pieces & bake for another 10 minutes. Check if chicken is thoroughly cooked and serve with onion rings and Nimkish Pudina Dip.
Kadai – In a kadai, heat 4 tablespoon oil and add the marinated chicken pieces with 1 cup (300ml) water. Keep the kadai uncovered and let the chicken simmer until water dries and chicken is tender.
