Makes: 1 kg chicken
Make shallow diagonal cuts on 1 kg chicken pieces. Rub 50g Nimkish Chicken Curry Masala and 2 tbsp oil on the pieces and keep aside for 15 minutes in refrigerator or can also cook immediately. In a kadai/wok, heat 4 tbsp oil and sauté the marinated chicken for 5-7 minutes on medium heat. Put 400g tomato pulp; turn to low heat and sauté until oil separates. Now, add 2 cups of water (600ml) stir and cook on high heat until it boils. Then, cover with lid and cook on medium heat for another 10 minutes or till the chicken is tender. You can also mix 100g cream and boil once for rich gravy. Serve hot with rice, naan or chapatti.
